Zero carbon cob house
We have recently received planning permission for an amazing new carbon neutral or carbon negative house and linked granny annex as well as ciderhouse, artists' studio, bicycle workshop, joinery workshop and associated machinery stores and garaging. The house is designed to meet passivehaus stantards of insulation and air tightness and to meet code for sustainable homes level 6
This application is outside the Towns development boundary and can only be taken into consideration under clause11 of PPS7 Sustainable development in Rural areas.
This is the result of over a year's research on our part and careful, site specific design, with the help of Architects' Bedford and Jobson, and numerous consultants.
Watch this space for possible longer term courses during this build which I expect to take two and a half years.
